This one-day course provides an introduction to the management of information and communications technology (ICT) contracts for both owner and vendor representatives. It applies to those persons who enter into and administer these contracts for the delivery of both ICT projects and services. The course has been designed to provide a practical insight into both the tender and contract phases of these contracts and discusses outsourcing and procurement practices generally. The course addresses key tender and contract administration issues and provides guidance on the content, use and problems associated with contract documents. Case studies and common problem areas are discussed together with some take away lessons to improve contract performance and bottom line results.
